I was asked to create a band logo for The After Party.

The specification for the logo was for it to look similar to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air Logo. I was supplied with a font which closely matched the look that they wanted to go for but it needed a lot of editing.

I used illustrator to break apart the font down to a beizer curve editing level. At this point I had full control of every bit of it. The original font was too rounded off. It was almost like a balloon font. Where as they required a more aggressive looking graffiti typeset. So I sharpened up the angles and fitted the letters together snug.

The band were very pleased with the final logo.
